Let’s face it, 3 night cruises are booze cruises and as someone who doesn’t drink, that can be a distraction or entertainment. We choose it as entertainment most times. We had a great time celebrating 10 years of marriage without our 3 children and our first cruise ever. It was a nice start to our cruise adventures. We will certainly be doing more. Carnival certainly wants you to be entertained and have fun and that’s what they do and they offer so much. Where else can you get room and board and food and entertainment for 4 days for $600? With was worth the money and we will probably book this ship again next year.

We got their at the time on our boarding pass and practically walked right on! And our room was ready within 15 minutes of us boarding!
Ship experiences
Food and Dining

We spent a lot of time at Guys Burger Joint when it was open from 12-6pm. Only ate in the Golden Olympian MDR once for dinner because we didn’t pace our meals and weren’t hungry during out my time dining time. Buffet looked like it had great food but we didn’t use it much. The continental breakfast area was a hit morning of day two. No wait and same food as the buffet. And pretty sure every time we passed an ice cream machine, we grabbed a cone to accompany us to wherever we were going on the ship. I gained exactly 5 lbs from the food! Worth it!
Guy's Burger Joint

Yummy. Simple burger and a topping bar with bacon, mushrooms, and sauces and onions. Couldn’t ask for more. Fries are delious son ask for a double portion.
Piano Man Bar
5 out of 5
It was were we spent our late nights after most things were closed. Gilbert was entertaining and tried to include everyone. Obviously it’s a bar so he tried to push the alcohol but we enjoyed sitting and listening and singing along. Only one night was one guest pretty drunk and brought out her inner Mariah Carey and was terrible but it was fine. Gilbert is funny. Definitely more adult themed as the night went on.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
There is alwAys something to do on board. We attended trivia, music concerts, theater type shows and comedy shows and karaoke. We spend most of our nights in the piano bar singing along with Gilbert the piano player and 35 of our closest drunk strangers.
Entertainment

Performers aren’t the greatest but they are good. Especially since most of them aren’t even from America and have to sing some of America’s greatest rock anthems. Singing was pitchy but nothing too horrible and if we were drinking, they would have sounded just fine I imagine. Lol overall everyone is talented. And kept the energy up.
Children's Programs
Service and Staff

Didn’t have any issues with any staff. They were all friendly and answered any questions we had. Some are hard to understand since they are from other countries but it wasn’t a distraction or anything.
Ship Quality

They were patching up some floor boards on the lido deck the whole weekend but it wasn’t loud, just noticeable. The only thing that was unappealing was deck 1 mid stunk like sewage. Thankfully we were deck 1 aft.
Cabin / Stateroom

The room was pretty clean. There was a toenail on the carpet which was gross but not enough to complain about. I was expecting a larger shower. It’s very small. But for a 4 day cruise it was fine. Carlos our steward was very nice. We only saw him twice the whole cruise. He gave us a spa discount since it was our anniversary but we didn’t get to use it cuz we were busy eating . Lol cooler kept our sodas cold and the safe is a nice security measure.
Ship tip
It’s what you make of it. It is a party ship geared towards drinking. Deck 7 forward has a little known outside deck where you can go to the front of the ship under where the captain drives the ship.
It’s not the cleanest town and my husband got offered Cocaine within 5 minutes of entering the town. It was a once in a lifetime experience for us. We are glad we got off the ship and explored but wouldn’t do it again. Went to the shopping past the straw market on Bay Street. Also did walk to Junkanoo beach and played in the water. And then didn’t the straw market for the experience. They all sell the same thing! And they all want too much for their items. Again fun to experience once but not again.
It could have been better if people would not come down before their deck is called. We waited a while after our deck was released so that’s our fault. Once you get off the ship and make it to customs the line is daunting but it was maybe a 20 minute wait.
