Review summary

Overall we would do a cruise again... the food was bragged about to much prior to the cruise that I think we had high expectation so next time we would know what we are getting into. Atmosphere is extremely fun and engaging. Everyone from staff to fellow cruisers were respectful and friendly.

Embarkation

Ship smelled like sewage when we first entered into the 3rd floor lobby

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Food is decent but not over the top great... 100% Buffett style food not the greatest quality. We did main dining every night and for a picky eater like myself the food was not good.

Golden Olympian Restaurant

3 out of 5

Serves very unique foods that were prepared extremely fancy. Not recommended for a picky eater. Flat iron steak was over cooked. Pork Chops were not very good. Best thing on the menu was the lamb stew, Mac n cheese, and chocolate lava cake!

Pizzeria

2 out of 5

Pizza is extremely thin.... smells amazing but once you get it it’s so thin like paper and then burnt.

Guy's Burger Joint

5 out of 5

Fresh burgers with all kinds of toppings.... extremely good about the only decent food!

Emile's Lido Restaurant

3 out of 5

Buffet style food... no pasta options until the last day and it was only a tomato sauce pasta. Chocolate was very rare and decent desert was hard to come across.

BlueIguana Cantina

4 out of 5

Taco salad bowl was not very good... tacos are the better option!

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Pools were small and packed at all times, standing room only so we were not able to enjoy pool time. The serenity deck had high walls which blocked any kind of breeze when sitting in the chairs so we kept to the lido deck due to the heat. Cruise director and group activities were great, very engaging and a lot of fun!

Serenity

2 out of 5

Serenity had high walls tha blocked any kind of breeze from getting on the deck when you were sitting in the chairs... very rare that they had service at the bar... and the cusions in the chairs are just hot and itchy to the skin.

The Fun Shops

2 out of 5

Half of the fun shops were under construction and not available while we were on the cruise very disappointed in the shopping options.

Cabin / Stateroom

Bed was so hard when you landed on it you almost bounced back out.... room is smaller but manageable for a party of 2. Room and Balcony were kept clean. Water pressure & tempature were excellent.

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

Nassau, Bahamas

Visited queen stairs & fort fin castle... this is just a short walk from the port and a nice free activity. Junkanoo beach is a short walk from port and a free beach to swim in the beautiful blue water. This is a major shopping port where we got all of our souvenirs!

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island

Looks like a container ship yard when you dock, minimal shopping in a small straw market, this is your place to do an excursion. We did nautical catamaran & reef snorkel... 20 minute drive on a bus to the excursion and the crew was very friendly.
