Review summary

We had ashes and food fall on us, while on our private balcony, cigarette and marijuana smoke from the others, indigestion from the food, the main dining hall had a decent appearance but the food was old and dry, leather for chicken. The entire cruise felt like shopping at a Walmart in the worst neighborhood. Rude employees, rude people, almost as if we were alien rejects in a new world similar to a prison with no escape. I didn’t want to get back on the ship after getting off at the Bahamas. While we paid extra for our cruise, expecting an amazing experience we ended up getting treated as if we were trash, ignored about our rooms problems, ig: fridge that was just one of many horrible experiences we had on our honeymoon and first cruise.

We enjoyed our cruise on the Liberty last year so much that we booked another for this year as well. We have never had a bad experience on a Carnival Cruise. September can't come fast enough!

People who go into a cruise with unrealistic expectations, are never satisfied. Also, Ive never had a problem go unresolved on a Carnival cruise! It also helps to be polite, and realistic in speaking with customer service, and if needed, speak to a Sr manager.

I found the Liberty and the staff to be great. Our party of 35 didn't have any complaints.

Hope you adjusted your tipping at the end. We went on MSC and rarely got spoken to and sometimes the waitress would roll her eyes and shoe away the complaints. I waited in the bar 20 min it seemed and they kept walking by me. Wouldn’t expect this from carnival but I’d definitely be adjusting my tips before I got off. They can’t do that and expect to get tipped
