Awesome cruise!!! We try to cruise without the kids every other year, just for “us time”! Carnival did not let us down this time! From our forgetfulness at the beginning to the last step off the ship-carnival is the way to go!!

We forgot our passports at home. Thankfully we were there at 9:45am, we’re able to get a friend to get our birth certificates, take pics of them and text them to us. We were given the email to whom at carnival we were to send them to. Once received we were escorted through security and to our own private check-in area. From there we got our boarding passes and were escorted straight to the ship where we boarded and b/c we had Faster to the Fun, we went straight to our stateroom, 8448-aft premium vista balcony.

We ate in the steakhouse the first night. I had surf and turf and hubby had the ribeye. The entrees were amazing and service exceptional. We ate in the dining room once and lido deck the rest of the nights. Both these experiences were great also!

Awesome layout, aft corner room with super large wraparound balcony! Many windows!! We LOVED this stateroom!!!
Our favorite port of call this cruise! Plenty of room for everyone to wnjoy the beach, many activities, lunch provided by carnival. We did the dune buggy excursion and saw lots more of the island and it’s breathtaking views!!
