Spur of the moment get away was a success. I look forward to going on another cruise next year.

Embarkation

Boarding was good. Roaming the different floors and getting to know the ship in my own way and time was nice. The crew helped when I asked for it. Their knowledge of the ship and day to day activities was impressive. Room service was great. I felt assured that my personal belongings would be safe in my room. Great food and drinks. The only thing I have to say needs improvement is having a deck location or specific time to dim part of the deck lights to star gaze would be great. The night sky was so clear it would have been great to see more constellations.

Restaurant was really good. The dining room areas were decorated in a way that made me feel welcome and I was an honored guest every night. The buffet was good. I couldn't find any bagels and cream cheese or oatmeal. Everything I ate had good flavor.

First night my waiter was spot on. Put the bar really high for the rest of the cruise. Unfortunately not all waiters could balance their work load very well. The next 2 days was a disappointment.

First time so I'm not sure what yo compare with. The layout was easy to understand and I could get from place to place without any problems.

Cabin / Stateroom

My housekeeping honored the time I chose for cleaning. Left my belongings alone. When I slept it felt like my bed at home. The pillow was too squishy for my taste but it wasn't that bad.
