Will not cruise on this ship again, or go to these ports again. But overall, we had fun on our honeymoon. Just not pleased with the boat itself or the food.

I was very upset every time I went on deck to get food & none of the restaurants were open.. food was decent, but it was rare for anything to be open. I was displeased when I finally caught the BBQ restaurant open & everything was cold... We only went one night to our “any time dining”. We went around 6 o’clock and didn’t get seated until 6:45, then didn’t finish the courses until around 8 o’clock.. very displeasing.
Onboard Activities

There was nothing that we found entertaining.. we couldn’t find anything that we wanted to do or found interesting. We went to the adult comedy show one night, was pretty funny, but only lasted about 25 minutes, barely worth getting out of our cabin for.
Czar's Palace Casino

We spent most of our time at the casino, very clean and great service. Lesley was great!! The air ventilation was wonderful, couldn’t even tell people were smoking .

Waiters and bartenders were wonderful. Was pleased with the room stewards for the most part but one went into our cabin while my husband was sleeping and took the shower head off the shower, I know because I took a shower before I left the cabin & when I came back, he asked me if he could put
The shower head back on. I was very upset and i pleased about that, otherwise it was nice, room was cleaned once, sometimes twice a day.
Ship Quality

The layout of the ship was nice, easy to find things and beautifully maintained. Except for the fact that four out of the 6 elevators one each floor were never working! We didn’t have a time that we didn’t wait more that 5 minutes for an elevator. Could’ve just taken the stairs..
Cabin / Stateroom

Decent size, wish the cruise line would invest in REAL king size beds instead of two
Twins pushed together. Made it very uncomfortable to sleep and very inconvenient to wake up 3-4 times a night to push the beds back together. Honeslty wish that they had a section or floor of the boat dedicated to families or groups with small children. We were on our honeymoon and I was extremely excited to get away from our children and get a decent nights sleep. But no, woke up every 3 hours to a screaming infant. 7:30 every morning I was wide awake. (I love children, but a cruise is no place for infants).
Ship tip
It smells like sewage throughout the whole ship. Not sure if it’s becuase it’s an older ship or what, but it was very unappetizing, and very displeasing to people forming to relax.
Horrible, very unpleasant to the eye and the not much to do. Barely any shops, mostly just tents and maybe two restaurants. Senior frogs was wonderful, but we were back on the boat by 10:30. Very pointless unless you’re doing an excursion

We’re cute and nice, but very sketchy. We were pushed and pushed to rent four wheelers and scooters, or get a taxi. Not relaxing! Also, we were offered drugs by a man on the street. I understand that’s some people’s homes, but if they want to make money, these people don’t need to be on the streets. Made me go back To the boat hours before we planned. Then, we were delayed leaving port because the police came onboard and took a man off the boat & continued to beat him on the sidewalk (not sure why or what happened). Entertaining to watch, because our governments are so different. Very interesting and concerning.
It seems as though on the at sea day the buffet was closing at 2:30. When it was open the food was okay. I have been on Norwegian and Royal Caribbean as well and I would stick to Norwegian from now on. The lines for food were crazy and had no organization or urgency to get them moving any faster.
Been on several Carnival cruises and I can't wrap my head around that there was nothing open when you wanted to eat. I've never found that to be a problem, actually quite the opposite. Just when in the hell were you trying to eat anyway??
Sorry you had a disappointing time on your cruise. A cruise is up to each person to pass on the little stuff and enjoy the day!!!! The only complaint you didn't list is how the toilet paper was placed on the rod, under or over?
What other security would you have liked to see when leaving the ship? Luggage is checked when you first board and you should have went through a security screening when you returned to the ship when in port, at least that's how it was when I sailed Carnival last year.
