Review summary

Carnival has gone down in quality. Customer service is not number 1 anymore. For a boat this size, it doesn't seem like the crew was prepared for that many passengers.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Quick Loading and registration. No problems there.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Buffets were open weird hours. Room service was slow and soggy. Dining room options were limited and they would not allow us to try more than one appetizer. Servers were nice and entertaining.

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
Pools were crowded and smelled very highly of bleach. Mini golf had odd hours, and you have to walk through the volley ball and basketball courts to get to it. Bingo was a rip off. Even if you won you had to split with people that competed in silly games at the end.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Enjoyed the live music. Kryssy Samson was awesome.

Children's Programs

3 out of 5
The preteens were left to roam and often ran through the lobby bumping into people.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Customer service was lacking. Several guest service reps were rude and unhelpful. Shore Excursion sales staff were not helpful either.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
There was a sulfur smell on floor 7 the entire trip. Otherwise clean

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Our cabin steward did an awesome job. Our room was always clean and everything worked.

Ship tip

Order room service for breakfast, the buffet lines were ridiculous.

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

4 out of 5
Cocoa Beach was nice

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island

2 out of 5
Freeport was sketchy and the beach excursion was a waste of money. .

Nassau, Bahamas

4 out of 5
Nassau was worth just going to atlantis.

Disembarkation

2 out of 5
We had to be out of the room by 8:30. There was no where to go to wait that wasn't crowded and hot. If you were allowed to just wait in your room, that would be preferred.

The crew deals with the same number of passengers 24/7, 52 weeks a year just different personalities.
