Review summary

Was very dissapointed. Not sure if will travel with Carnaval again. Tips were prepaid so most of the staff were not as catering as ususal. When asking questions, no one seemed to have answers I know that Carnaval is supposed to be the fun ships, but is only fun if all you want to do is drink, drink and drink.

Food in main dining room was tasteless and cold. Ordered Steak, was tough and dry. Broccoli and potatoe was cold. Didn't eat any more in dining room. Buffet food was ok but not anything to brag about. I have been a few other cruise ships that the food and service was much better

The comedy shows were excellent. The other shows and entertainment NOT. Not much activity going on the ship when docked. Mostly the only thing to do was to drink.

ok the tips...those small tips you pay are divided between many people. So PLEASE keep that in mind when people are complaining about the service you get! These people are from other countries, away from their families, trying to make a living. They are supposed to remember your names, clean up your messes and cater to your needs. I always tip extra because they bust their butts and still cannot make some happy. Just sayin'

Yep, we wanna drink, drink, drink and party it up, it's why we love Carnival! ðMaybe you could try Celebrity or Princess? They're known for more mature, quieter crowds.

You have the option to either prepay tips or leave a tip on the last day that's what I always do
