This was a great vacation! All of the staff were amazing! The beaches were beautiful, the food was fantastic, everything was wonderful! Highly recommend!

My kids were shy at first but then they loved it so much we couldn't get them out! The staff were so sweet to the kids and helped them feel comfortable.

Joseph, our waiter at dinner was perfect! He even gave us a little magic show each night that my children loved. Rechie, our room steward was great! He was very personable and our room was great! He even made the kids a Yoda towel creation. They loved it!

The Islands do not take American Express, which of course, is the only card I had with me. We took a bus to Taino Beach which is fantastic. There is a $3 pp fee to enter the beach and make sure you have cash or VISA, Mastercard or Discover.

We did not do an excursion through Carnival bc we had done all of them before. We chose just to take a bus to Melia hotel and purchase a day pass for their beach access and pool. The hotel is very nice and the day pass price was reasonable. However, there are certain places children are not allowed, but they are not marked properly so there was no way to know. And the outdoor restaurant was expensive. I ordered a crudite platter which was 9 slices of vegetables with dip and it was $9! There were no prices on the menu so I knew it was going to be costly but that is excessive. The service was awful as well. But the pools and beach were nice.
