Review summary

High speed engine failure caused us to arrive 5 hours late into Cozumel and 10 hours late in returning to Galveston. Carnival doesn't seem to have as many stewards as Royal Caribbean. Carnival doesn't require anyone to use hand sanitizer before dinner. Entertainment was excellent.

Room was cleaned only once per day. There was no turn-down of the bed at night.

Ship tip

There is no guarantee the ship will arrive on time. Carnival seems to have had many mechanical failures on their ships.

That's so very true.

Washing hands or sanitizer, both work but we can't control others who don't practice good hygiene or for those who come on the ship sick and spread it around for that matter. I admit I'd be upset if my cruise had mechanical issues, that sucks for sure, especially if it had happened on my first cruise.

I am willing to not be hovered over to pay a lower price . . Rogerellen. . I am in a similar situation it makes my eczema awful

Hell, I can't use hand sanitizer because it literally cracks them and tears my skin up. I do wash my hands every chance I get though. And just curious, why does it matter how many stewards were on the ship? Wanted a more personal experience? I'm not being sarcastic. Im just curious.

There are hand sanitizer containers all over the ship, you should not have to beg people to use them.

Not to be rude, I would hope adults would wash prior to eating, but requiring hand sanitizer seems a bit parental. No one else is touching my food but me . . so if someone wants to be nasty . . I guess that is on them.
