Review summary

I was a little disappointed with the food selection...my family goes on cruises a lot and always brags to be about how good the food is so I was excited about going for the first time...but I was disappointed. My sister went with me on this trip, this was the fifth cruise she has been on and she explained, she is not sure what happen but the food was not what it use to be from their previous cruise trips. I loved the trip to Cozumel, but I was not sure why Progresso was used as a tourist place for use to visit, I did not enjoy going there. However, Teodulo and Iwayan made my trip on the cruise totally worth it! They did a great job during the entire cruise I had to give them a BIG hug before I got off!:) thank you!

We make hot tea, sometimes mixing flavors, and pour it over ice for fresh brewed iced tea. Only takes a few seconds and is so much better than what they make!

I'm not a big coffee drinker but I think it was decent. One of our fav memories was having coffee mixed with the self serve ice cream while watching the seaside movie at night.

Ack! I don't think I've ever had instant! Yikes! Is the coffee at least good? Lol I don't eat eggs much.

And powdered scrambled eggs, but u can get fresh eggs at the omelette bar (if there is one on the liberty. I've only been on the magic.)

Instant tea! 😝 they do have tea bags for hot tea though, but instant iced tea.

Oh man, what kind of tea? I quit drinking sodas and drink lots of tea. And I'm pretty picky.

If it makes you feel any better, I've seen equal complaints about the food on other cruise lines including royal and even fancy Norwegian lol. We've cruised twice on carnival and I agree the food is mediocre, so that's what got me thinking about trying another cruise line, but everything else was so great, no real complaints. I can't see paying so much more.

Yes! late night pizza pirate. Steak house on the Liberty was excellent during our May cruise. Looking forward to eating there again during our Nov. cruise. Same ship and even the same cabin again.

Yeah. The most complaints I've heard is there's no lobster on the 5 day Lol I imagine its going to be like anywhere these days. You get out of it what you make of it. I really don't care if the food is good or bad. There are so many places to eat, gonna be hard to get to them all! My daughter and I are looking forward to pizza at 3am Lol

A lot of people have been complaining about the food throughout all ships. Maybe a cut back. Sailing out Nov 5th. Hope it gets better
