A cruise can be an expensive and sometimes lonely vacation for a solo traveler, despite the non-stop party taking place all around you. Still, it is a decent means to and end, and the excursions were worth every penny. Look at the cruise as travel, meals, and lodging all rolled into one, and maybe you will find a few entertainment options as a bonus.
Ship Quality
Well maintained and cared for.
Food and Dining
Some good, some mediocre. You'll gain weight.
Cabin / Stateroom
A small, interior cabin gets the job done.
Service and Staff
Staff usually makes the extra effort.
Entertainment
A few highlights, but TV and computer games turned out to be an equally attractive alternative to ship nightlife.
Children's Programs
Onboard Activities
Endless advertising. Diamonds! Tanzinite! Watches! Artwork!
Destinations and Excursions
Excursions were the highlight.
