Review summary

The Carnival Liberty was beautiful and the atmosphere was excellent. I was amazed at how often the room was tidied and beds made. We all loved the changing chandelier colors and the atrium was beautiful. The ship layout was great as I tend to get lost on the big ships but the layout as far as food and activiites were grouped together

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food was diverse and excellent. We did the anytime dining which fit for our schedule and although the food was all supurb, it took about 2 hours to complete dining which is long for families. The pizzeria was the best along with the ice cream and yogurt. Dining room staff to be commended.

Entertainment

1 out of 5
A good variety of entertainment for all ages. The only complaint that I have is "at sea"days by the pool, there were many inappropriate and not age appropriate i.e. Newlywed game, Mens hairy chest shower scene. Too many sexual innuendos that were not age appropriate. Those should be kept for adult only activiites not around the pool deck with 100's of kids. The R-Rated comedy nights were VERY distasteful and vulgar. The asst cruise director was way off.

Ship Quality

Decor was updated and splendid

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Room was big for 3 people and service was the best I've ever had.

Ports of call

George Town, Grand Cayman

3 out of 5
Seven mile beach was beautiful but hard to get a taxi for 7 people in our group

Ocho Rios, Jamaica

5 out of 5
We heard the Falls were very crowded. We did our own excursion

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
Rented a jeep for $50 for the day and took our own excursion.

Pros: all 3 ports were different and unique

Cons: non-family appropriate activities - too much bingo that you had to pay for.
