Review summary

We don't usually go on cruises so take my comments for what they are. We prefer to longer at locations and enjoy the people, their culture and food. We needed a place to stay for a week so this cruise worked out perfectly. We thought the staff on the ship was excellent, all of them were very nice and accommodating. The food in general was just OK but keep in mind that we live in Las Vegas so our perspective is not always the same as others might be. We did very much enjoy the supper club we thought it well worth the additional fee. We thought it was silly to miss our stop in Mexico. The port was several hundred miles from any flu outbreak in Mexico city. Yet we stopped in Belize a very short distance away neither port has any problems with the flu. We did enjoy the sting rays in the Caymans, and the zoo in Belize. We would have gone for a scuba dive but felt the ships prices were way out of line. We were not terribly excited about Honduras. In general the entertainment on board was good. Most of it was based around comedy acts. However, the best production was the second night when the ships dancers put on a show. This was probably a cost cutting measure that maybe necessary for the cruise line to stay in business. Overall we enjoyed the cruise. It wasn't the trip of a life time for us but then again we travel to some incredible locations.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We loved having an open dining time where we could go to the dining room when we wanted to. We also enjoy dining with different people every night. We've always hated being on schedule on vacation. As I said we loved the supper club.

Children's Programs

It must have been good. We prefer adult vacations. There were 400 children on board. We never had a problem with rowdy children.

Ports of call

Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

We were not very impressed with Roatan. We took some time to walk around and shop then went back to the ship and enjoyed some time at the pool.

Belize City, Belize

We went to the zoo. It's a small but very interesting zoo. Well worth doing.

George Town, Grand Cayman

5 out of 5
Booked the tour for sting rays and snorkeling once we got to the port. We paid much less than those who booked on the ship, but as it turned out we should have bargained with them. Everyone else paid less that we did.
