Review summary

I really enjoyed the Center Stage area and the Heroes lounge where they had sports on the various TV plus this is where all the trivia took place

Embarkation

2 out of 5
The embarkation process is chaotic It did seem a little better with the terminal upgrades but still believe Carnival could improve for the number of years they’ve been doing this from Galveston

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The food overall was good We ate in the Pacific MDR our servers Bryan. and. June were awesome The food was good and served promptly Guys Burger was great as always- the line was long and I thought it would be a long wait but the most I ever had to wait was 10 minutes The pizza and beach buns sandwiches were also good

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
The Jubilee with the Center Stage area offered shows in addition to the Jubilee Theatre both areas offered early and later performances so use the Carnival Hub app and you’ll be able to watch all of the different shows and events There are plenty of areas for lounging

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The shows were all super and held both at the CENTER STAGE- Deal or No deal and Rio Carnival plus other THEATRE- Family Fued and My Future Husband The DJ on the Lido deck were both great

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Carnival staff are always so nice and friendly especially given the long hours they work Our cabin steward (Made) was awesome and efficient always smiling and asking how our day was and if we needed anything

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The Jubilee is a new ship so it was clean and the staff were always seen cleaning the various areas Being on this class of ship for the first time I actually woke up around 3 AM the first day and just walked from the forward to aft on the decks 6,7,8 and then 16,17,18 and it really helped me for the rest of the cruise The only negative I have would be the elevators are smaller and for the amount of passengers it can become very trying at times

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Our cabin was an ocean view plenty of closet space and storage area The bathroom is smaller than other Carnival ships

Ports of call

Galveston, Texas

4 out of 5
Live in the Houston area so basically our home port although we go down the day before and enjoy the Pleasure Pier and Strand shopping area

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5

Disembarkation

1 out of 5
Carnival and the Port of Galveston need to do better
