I sailed from Galveston on January 12th, at the start of this year. Flew in a day early and stayed at the Hilton Resort on Seawall Blvd. Despite the clear sunny skies, the strong ocean breeze made the air quite chilly. I flew in from Cincinnati so, it definitely felt warmer to me but swimming and sunbathing were out of the question. We needed jackets just to walk to dinner a couple of blocks away. Less wind or another 10 degrees warmer and it would have been comfortable and that was totally within the realm of possibility. It just didn’t happen during my brief stay. Wishing you warm weather and happy cruising!

It will cold in Galveston, but it will get warmer as you get to Mexico and the Caribbean islands.
