My friend and I enjoyed every minute on the ship and took full advantage of all the entertainment to be had. We didn't over eat, but ordered what we wanted and ate well. We were comfortable and felt safe and were pleasantly surprised by the courtesy of staff and other passengers. I would book it again every month if I could.

Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
The food was excellent. We ate dinners in the dining room where the choices were plenty and the service good. The Breakfast buffet was also of sufficient variety to satisfy any taste. Love the grilled tomatoes and potato cakes. The breakfast burritos and omelets I saw others eating looked good, but were not my choice.
Onboard Activities

The pool looked inviting but we did not use it. We were thrilled to see the towel animals waiting for us on the deck on Sunday morning. They were everywhere, and quite adorable.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
The Cruise Director was energetic and enthusiastic and engaged with the passengers as did his assistant Zach along with another whose name I did not get. At the end of they cruise they dressed as Madea and a banana, with quite the sense of humor. The atrium party was a riot. We also liked the Piano player who played and hosted a sing along. The Motor City show was outstanding, far better than any entertainment I have seen on other cruise ships. Each show engaged the audience in the show in one way or another by bringing passengers into the show. Although the comedians swore a lot, they were funny and entertaining. All first class entertainers throughout the ship.

Service and Staff
5 out of 5
I only saw my room steward once, but the room was always well attended to. All staff were friendly and genuine in their interactions. They smiled and said hello in passing.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
As an older ship it was a little confusing to maneuver, especially from end to end, but it was always clean and well maintained. Except the casino. It seemed grungy.
Cabin / Stateroom

with 2 twin beds we had plenty of room to move around and spread out.
Ship tip
Do it, before Ryan Rose (cruise director) leaves in March. He is phenomenal as is all the staff. They clearly love their job.
It's a beautiful port, but can be difficult to access quickly because trucks going to the other piers block the right lane even though it is a violation of law. my cab fare doubled because trucks were blocking the lane to the cruise ship.
