Ship experiences

Food and Dining

1 out of 5
I have sailed with carnival twice before and have had no issues. This experience was completely different. We went to the main dining room only twice and then refused to go back. Our drinks didn't come till desert, we did not get all the food we ordered and what did come out was cold. We though maybe since it was the elegant night we would try again the next. Again, we did not get all the food we ordered, the wait for our drinks was ridiculous and we didn't even stay for desert.

Onboard Activities

1 out of 5
Our cruise was over Halloween. Our group new we could wear costumes but apparently no one else on the cruise got the memo. There was no advertisement for Halloween at all and we had to call to ask. There seemed to be very few activities throughout the cruise regardless.

Entertainment

1 out of 5
The DJ on the lido deck was terrible.

Children's Programs

1 out of 5
Our daughter attended the children's programs in hopes of doing fun activities and arts and crafts. She went three separate times throughout 3 of the days and each time we picked her up the counselors were not paying attention to any of the children and all the children were watching a movie and being ignored.

Service and Staff

2 out of 5
While we had one amazing waiter bringing us drinks up on the top deck I found the rest of the service lackluster and not overly knowledgeable.

Ship Quality

1 out of 5
The ship is extremely outdated. Anywhere you went on the ship you could smell nothing but paint fumes as they desperately tried to cover the wear and tear.

Cabin / Stateroom

1 out of 5
Size the cabin was absolutely fine. Cleanliness not bad either, however, the cabin was extremely run down our lights didn't work, the upper beds with the railing were extremely flimsy and our daughter even fell out as the railing was not long at all. Nothing as it shows in pictures.

MarQ is the best I agree! I had a blast on my last cruise and can’t wait for the next.

I was on the same cruise. It was awesome! MarQ is so much fun. Plus, there was so much Halloween stuff going on. If you had a bad time on this cruise, then you need to look in the mirror kemosabe.
