Review summary

This was very disappoint I like sun on my vacation and it was overcast the entire time except when we got to Ensenada The other port there was nothing to do., And the tv in the rooms sucked they made sure to have sports on every other stations where was the movies the only movie channel was dark and you could not see it. they had to many ccn stations it this age of satellite they could have better viewing programs I don't want to come back to my more and watch carnival hawking there excursion and other nonsense. I want to relax and watch a good movie sadly they had none. This ship was ugly and dark and with the over cast outside it made it darker. When it states formal dining people were still going in with shorts and flip flop, if you were on RC they would not let you it that's why its called formal night. The last day of they cruise was the best they had a party on deck they should have done this on day one, they only brought out music on the last day. Very Boring Will Never do again back to High Class Royal Caribbean.

No excitment when we left shore I was unpacking and did not know ship was leaving they just took off. Jeez where all hands on deck to kick off cruise.

I had to pay for 2 bubble packages my husband is the only one that drinks alcohol. Im a diabetic I take 10 or more shots a day plus pill and had to buy this stupid package it was a total waste of my good money I was getting smoothies just so I would not waste $$ an ended up never drinking them all. I will not go on another carnival cruise if I have to purchase this mess. The food was always cold, how can you eat cold pancakes with cold syrup. Don't they know how to keep food hot. They never had fish and if you wanted it you had to pay for it I have never been on a cruise where I had to pay for food! Ridiculous! f

The cruise director NoNo or Noelle was excellent very engaging to people she was entertaining, she made the experience fun. She need to apply to another cruise line. Geared the bartender was excellent also he remember everyone's name when we came to bar. he was always talkative, funny made sure we were having a good time. The formal dining staff was great team. Food was good here.

this was the ugliest ship I had ever sailed on, it was dark and dreary . it had no life, I cant believe they let people smoke on the ship. that ship needs to go to pasture.

Room was always clean fresh bed, bathroom was very clean the gentle who took care of our room was very very nice helpful offered great tips. He was very nice

Dont Go it was cold could not even swim on the ship. the islands they went to were boring nothing to do.

I'm diabetic but you are the super diabetic I'm 55 i don't do insulin because I lost the st and took myself of it. You sure are a complainer nothing is good enough for you poor husband 😕 maybe you need to control your sugars because that's not normal to give yourself that many injections. Wow lady take better care of yourself and stop taken everything out on people and the ship most of the research i did was very positive but you have way to much negativity on your plate please get better.

Some of the stuff you complain about was beyond the ship’s control (overcast weather, people not wearing your expected formal night attire), some were from your own decision (purchasing the beverage program - they will tell you right ahead that every adult in the stateroom must purchase the program, which you clearly don’t have to do if you don’t agree), TV channels (all you have to do is flip around! They had limited channels but there were plenty of movie channels to choose from) and in Ensenada you can choose a shore excursion to make the most out of it. Also there is always a sail-away party. You should’ve checked the itinerary they deliver to your room so you don’t miss out. Anyway, hope you have fun in your next cruise.

The weather on the West Coast is often grey in the summer. Not the cruise line's fault. I only ever had the station on that shows the view from the bow so I could see where we were going. Ensenada is a great little town but you do have to walk there from the dock if you don't take an excursion. And I would never buy a drink package on a 3 Day cruise. You and your husband could have brought 2 bottles of wine on board and that would have been plenty for him to drink.

Maybe you need to research a little more before you take your next cruise! Princess doesn’t require everyone that is 21 to purchase the liquor package if one adult purchases it. However, their shortest cruise is 5 days and that sounds like it may be to long for you. It wasn’t the ships fault for the bad weather. You just may be a complainer! Good luck in the future if you decide to take another cruise, but you need to research the ship and the ports.

Most ships are the same now with the drink packages for liquor. They require each person over 21 in the cabin to have the package. You didn't need to get it. You could have ordered drinks for your husband by paying for them same day. It's not the ships fault that the weather didn't cooperate.
