Review summary

Overall we enjoyed our vacation. I liked Long Beach but not enough to take another cruise from Long Beach Port.

Embarkation

I borded about 30 minutes before the last embarkation. There wew no lines. Everyone was pleasant. We walked straight through. It was very pleasant to not have to wait in any long lines.

Food and Dining

The food and the food choices were not that great this time around. I have had better on previous carnival cruises. I was disappointed in food options and food quality.

Onboard Activities

There were many activities for all ages to pick and choose from. Motown night was the best.

I attended the comedy show one of the nights. The comedians were hilariously funny.

Children's Programs

There were plenty of fun activities for children. My daughter is 8. I had to talk her into going to participate in the kid activities. Once she did she didn't want to leave.

Service and Staff

There is nothing worse than wait staff coming to clear the table without asking the patron if they are done eating. This happened to me on a few occasions. While sitting and chatting with my friends and family while I ate a male waiter came up and takes my plate. I did not like that at all. I had to tell him I was not done eating and to please ask before you touch my plate. Because this happened on more than 1 occasion and not by the same person. I did not leavr a tip for lido deck staff.

Cabin / Stateroom

The cabin was supposed to be an accessible cabin. I was very small. The smallest ocean view I have ever had or seen. There was very limited room for us to move around. My daughter had to sleep on a floor trundle in the corner of the room. She complained about it each night until I finally gave in and let her sleep with my husband and I. There was one day we off the ship for most of thr day. When we came back our room had not been cleaned. We went to dinner and came back. It still was not done.
