Review summary
Overall, I would definitely save your money and choose a different cruise line or definitely a different boat.
Embarkation
1 out of 5
Embarkation was good. It was an easy process to board the ship and when we got on there was a lot of workers helping to direct you where to go.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
We didn't go to the main dining room once we were informed that each table had at least 3 parties and you weren't able to order your meal until each party was there. Guy's burger joint and Blue Iguana Cantina were honestly the only food places that were amazing. The buffet had a very small selection of food to choose from and there was anything "kid-friendly".
Onboard Activities
1 out of 5
The pool was okay (no problems) until somebody had pooped and they had let it sit there for at least 4 hours. I would never get into that water after knowing how long it had sat there. There wasn't much entertainment on the pool deck except for the sail away party and the activities for an hour on the at sea day.
Entertainment
1 out of 5
The shows were very quick and I had no idea what was going on the whole time. When the streamers had come down for the first show I thought "this cannot be the end" but sure enough it was. For the second show, it was okay. The singing was good and the actors were good. But then when one of the actors stripped to there short shorts and starting doing sexual moves I was appalled. It was not an 18+ show and if my little sister had been there I would've been PISSED. They should be a little bit more respectful and warn everyone that it's not meant for younger people.
Children's Programs
My party didn't have any children
Service and Staff
1 out of 5
Overall, all I can say is the staff was very dismissive. They didn't really care about things and everything was half assed. For the amount of money you spend, I would say save a bit more and go on a different cruise line.
Amazing. Best part about this trip. The golf cart tour is amazing. Its $45 with a $45 cash deposit that you get back if you are back within an hour. However, it is so fun that I would even spend the $90 to go around the island again because it was so much fun. Very clean and friendly people there.
If you are looking to buy a purse, skull, bracelet with your name, t-shirt, or medicine then you will find it here in one shop right as you walk off the ship. But 1 building is all you will find unless you take a bus (not safe) deeper into the town or you go on an excursion. 0/10 would recommend.
Getting off of the boat was the worst part. We were carrying off our own luggage in order to make it to our flight in time. The workers had told us to go to 3 different areas to wait but we were wrong every time and the workers were very disrespectful about it. Once getting off the boat it went pretty smoothly, nothing else went wrong.
Cruising is the best bang for the buck. You're pretty vague about what happened and what was half-assed? As far as the show's I think you had to many to drink. If you couldn't figure out what was going on. The words Vegas-style shows should of gave you an idea that it could get a little risky and might not be appropriate for all children ages. Did you tell anybody that somebody pooped in the pool. I don't think they have poop Patrol in the pool so they need to be informed. There is always a lot to do on the ship if you look at the paper that is delivered each morning in your mailbox. Never have I heard that you could not order your food until the other couples were there. What kid doesn't like hamburgers and pizza you said you did. Why are you so worried about kids stuff you said you didn't even have one with you.
So, you had no kid but are upset a show wasn't kid friendly and say there weren't kid friendly items on the menu? This makes no sense. Why would either of those things matter? For the record, there are plenty of kid friendly eats on the ship.
And the show for 18+ is noted in your Carnival times. Not sure why it’s a problem to wait for others to dine. You could have gone to the anytime dining room. Your complaints about nothing kid friendly is nuts. You had no kids in your party so how do you know? There are many options on menus for kids in the dining rooms. Perhaps your just hard to please. It’s tough to judge an entire cruise line for 4 nights on a smaller ship. Try a better class ship before making an overall decision.
