Review summary

There were a few great people that deserve praise: Gener and Hector. They were great.

Our group was supposed to have 6:00 pm dining but we were stuck with anytime dining. The water slide was shut down for maintenance or repairs. The food was very bland in taste at the buffet and restaurant... Guy's burgers was great. All of the hot tubs were overloaded with people that would just sit there for hours, some would just sit there with the tall beers with only their feet in the water. I wasn't allowed to sit while the safety orientation was happening and it agrevated my back injury so I had to lay down the rest of the day... my first day! The drinks seemed watered down. Services were nice. Ian at the customer services station really helped us with a charge issue we had. This was my first cruise and I can say for a fact that I will never cruise with Carnival again. Overall, it was a dreadful disappointment.

cabin television was really outdated and didn't have much of a selection of programs and stations to view. The cabin was fine otherwise.

Ship tip

I would recommend Princess instead. This was my first and possibly my last cruise with Carnival.

We have been on the Carnival Inspiration for the 4-day Baja Cruise several times. This past November we were placed at a table for 10 instead of at a table for 4 so us & the other couple we were with we're switched to whatever 4 top table was available at the early dinner seating. Other than that we had a fun cruise. Guys burgers are always great, my favorite one is the piggy patty, Blue Iguana is perfect for breakfast & only thing we like in the buffet are are the Deli sandwiches & the milk.

I know for sure the 3 day ensenada ones are. The 7 days are a little more family friendly. We just went at Christmas with the kids and grand kids, was very nice.

More and more Carnival is for the wilder crowd under 40. For that reason I do not use them anymore.

They do have a special area for people with disabilities during the safety still. Just need to ask, I went last year with a bad knee and they offered that to me.
