Review summary

Before our cruise I tried to find information if the cruise would be windy, its an open boat moving on the water so I assumed it would be. It is super windy & super cold. Catalina was nice, nice shopping, clean & nice restaurants. Ensenada was awful! We were only off the boat for 2 hours, its a dirty dirty town. The ship was fine, but the seas were really rough & so you felt the waves all the time. lots of sea sick passengers.

Its a cruise ship cabin, they are small--not much to say. this ship only has a couple rooms with open decks. We just wanted a short cruise to try it out. We are obviously not cruise people. Would much rather be on land laying by a pool or ocean.

First of all Ensenada Is not dirty!! So I don't what Ensenada you went to? The Pizza and Fries were great for us!! You are on water so you should expect movement and also it depends where you are on the ship, we were at bottom Middle and we did not feel the boat rocking at all!!

How is Mexico a 3rd world country?

Seas are unpredictable. I've been on 40 cruises and have had only a few times with rough seas. Been to Ensenada many times both cruising and driving. Going in 2 weeks and again in July. I make the most of any situation :)

Yes end of winter/beginning of spring can be cold on a ship deck. As far as 3rd world countries, Ensenada is pretty clean. The port itself is squeaky clean and the tourist areas are not bad. Did you notice the mansions on the hill? A lot of the locals have more money than we will ever have.
