Review summary
I have cruised before and yet this was my first Carnival cruise. This particular ship "Inspiration" referred to as a "puddle jumper" by some, is very small. The casino was so much fun! There's only one pool for the entire ship and it's way too small to handle the occupants of the ship. Therefor, the water is too warm and slimy. The pool was wall to wall people standing and trying to get relief from the heat while kids jump into the tiny spots of water between people thus getting the disgusting salty water into your very expensive cocktails. This is a huge negative. Next, the Brasserie always closes too early. Every time we tried to go eat at the Brasserie they were closing down. The game show and Bingo was fun. The room was clean every time we returned and I even ordered a special anniversary package for our room which was handled beautifully. The room was decorated and my boyfriend was totally surprised! The food was very good in the Mardi Gras Dining room but the lobster was a bit small for the extra price. The entertainment staff were amazing! They really knew how to rally the guests! Oh! The comedians were hilarious! Great comedy shows! I appreciated the drink deals every day. Made the trip a bit more affordable for me. Overall, it was a great trip! We would travel with Carnival again! Thanks for a memorable vacation!
