Review summary

We had a wonderful and relaxing time on this cruise.  We always enjoy a walk around Catalina Island and enjoy some of the local culinary options.  The shopping is wonderful and there are many boutiques to explore.  We also like to rent the golf carts and tour the island landscape.  There are many beautiful scenic photo stops along the way.  Then we arrive back and enjoy either some delicious ice cream or a a pick me up with a nice espresso drink from the local sweet shops.  Then back to the ship for another fun filled night of shows and music!

Our cabin attendant always greeted us with a smile. Our room was always neat and clean. One of many features that make cruising so enjoyable. Shri always had our beverages chilling in an ice bucket for us. She went above the usually amazing service and expectations.

Ship tip

If you can carry your bags on with you, I would recommend this over having the bags delivered. We like to do this so that we can unpack quicker and get out an enjoy the daily cocktail special and hit the Burger Bar and enjoy the delicious food.

Perhaps a tour of the Queen Mary might be fun before or after the cruise. Looks fun!
