Review summary

We have cruised Carnival and several other cruise lines in the past. We had an awesome time on this cruise. Our teenage grandkids had a blast as well. Our room service was excellent and our waiter was also excellent. He remembered all of our names, our likes and dislikes and was able to anticipate what we needed throughout our meal. We also made use of the Adults Only Serenity Area of the ship for our late afternoon Jacuzzi time which was great. It was a nice break from the amped up energy of the younger crowd. People tend to rank Carnival as less than perfect compared to other cruise lines but honestly we had no complaints. We have cruised extensively and have cruised with other cruise lines and have always had a great experience on Carnival.

Had plenty of space for all of our clothes and toiletries. Loved having housecoats. Enjoyed getting towel animals, something other cruises are not doing much anymore.

Weather was bad so we were bussed to San Pedro to Embark. Seemed pretty organized and went well.

I, too, am pretty happy with Carnival. I have reached platinum level now and receive free laundry and other perks. Stick with Carnival if you are satisfied. They have many ships and different itineraries. Please post another review if you cruise again. I enjoyed reading this one.
