Review summary

This was my first cruise and it will probably be my last 4 day cruise because I simply didn't have much to do aboard the ship whilst at sea. I know there is alot of booze around and bingo games but that is not my idea of fun for more than one day. I can see how this type of thing could be fun for old people and children but when I travel I prefer to be in desired destination for more than a few hours. Being at sea is okay but I would rather walk around Mexico fo four days than just one:/. However, the cruises staff was unbelievably helpful and kind. There was nothing that I needed that they could not provide and they are truly hard workers. I loved hearing about there respected countries and sharing a little bit about my life with them also. Every crew member had me smile from ear to ear and my wish is that I could have spoken to them more than what I was allowed by carnival regulations. I would recommend this cruise to everyone that has never been on one before for the experience.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

1 out of 5
The food was gross. Sorry, Carnival but I am a vegetarian and your selections for dinner always left me unable to satisfy my hunger. The fruit was always old and obviously canned and the eggs came out of a carton of nastiness if you ask me. The best food aboard the ship was during lunch at the Lido deck because they had an AWESOME selection of vegetables for a FRESH stir fry made right in front of me. Also, the juice selection SUCKED.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Comedy shows and Latin dance performances? Boring! I did however LOVE the Fun Force! Mike & Mike were full of energy and always grabbed my attention and left me smiling with there crazy dance moves.

Service and Staff

Ports of call

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
I did a working tour and met and spoke to many locals! The best part of Cozumel Mexico is EVERYTHING.
Don't Miss: Taking a taxi from down town because it is only $7.

Pros: Speaking to the crew

Cons: Being unable to use the pool because of the amount of children in there and the food.

Recommends Carnival Inspiration? Yes!
