Embarkation

It was a difficult situation all around with the COVID19 situation, it wasn't Carnival's fault, but the process was NOT fun. That said I am grateful that they took the extra time to make sure customers were safe by testing the previous passenger that was not feeling well and then cleaning the ship well.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
We had a mixed experience with food on this trip, I need to eat gluten free and the rest of our party didn't have any special needs. The regular food in the dining room was pretty good and there was a lot of variety with new taste experiences. My gluten free experience was okay. Our dining room waiter was Ramsey, who was wonderful, the first night I asked what gluten free options were available, and he made sure to place an order for me the night before so that the chef could make what I wanted gluten free, that usually meant no sauce and deletion of spices, but I was able to have my dietary needs met. There were also great options on the Lido deck for gluten free as well as regular pizza that was very tasty, and the deli also had gluten free bread so that I could have sandwiches. For the rest of my party breakfast was awesome in the dining room, but gluten free options were much more plentiful on the Lido deck where there were buffets and custom order omelets.

Entertainment

We enjoyed the comedian family shows, we attended 2 of the 3 evening productions and enjoyed the talented cast. We also enjoyed the music trivia in the atrium , very fun party atmosphere.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
We had only positive experiences on the ship with the crew, our waiter was Ramsey who took care of my gluten free needs and always remembered our names, a very friendly person and a very kind person. Yanti was our cabin steward and she was great, always friendly and greeted us every time she saw us. She took great care of us.
Ship Quality

The ship was clean.
Cabin / Stateroom
3 out of 5
The room itself was clean and comfortable. The only drawback was that we were woken up by the anchor dropping every morning we came into a new port.
All the little shops were fun to visit, the ice cream stores that made their own ice cream and gelato was amazing. We had a great walk and checked out the island museum. If you want to see the casino make sure you make a reservation for the excursion. We thought we could just walk in, not so.
This was an interesting port, definitely bring cash to make purchases and haggle! La Bufadora was fun, I don't recommend the top 10 tour, I would have enjoyed more time to shop rather than getting on a bus to see questionably popular tourist stops.
