Sail date: November 17, 2019
Ship:
Carnival Imagination
Cabin type: Inside
Cabin number: E88
Traveled as: Couple

Review summary
The speed never went about 8 knots and it was apparent (California native) we were either going in circles or just sitting in the ocean.
Embarkation
4 out of 5
Long Beach Cruise Terminal leaves a lot to be desired. All of the employees rarely greeted us, a few actually ignored some of our questions and the amount of walking to get to the gangway was unnecessary. There was nothing there.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
2 out of 5
The food on Lido was tasteless. It’s almost as if there was nothing added to items at all. Even the soft serve and lemonade tasted watered down. I’m not sure if it’s due to old machines or the lackluster attitude of the crew. Either way, I only ate pepperoni pizza and grilled cheese the entire four day cruise, now those were great.
Onboard Activities
1 out of 5
We did not participate in any onboard activities.
Service and Staff
1 out of 5
If I could give this section zero stars, I would but our room steward Antonio was awesome. He always greeted us, had a smile on his face. He cleaned the room as often as we would allow. Other than that, we were greeted with a naked crew member stroking his genitalia while walking on Deck 10. How awful.
Ship Quality
1 out of 5
There was never a clean table on the Lido deck, so much seagull poop on the chairs and tables that we could never enjoy being out there. The ship design reminds me of one of the old Las Vegas hotels (smelled like it to). A very narrow walkway around a few deck areas, because the Sphinx with boobs and nipples protruded out so much. This ship needs a very long dry dock to revamp the look.
Cabin / Stateroom
3 out of 5
Toning to brag about.
This room is an interior room with an 18” mounted flat screen TV, no refrigerator, no couch.
Ship tip
If you’ve sailed on Dream class ships, you will not enjoy your time on this one.
