Overall we had a great time, we would cruise with carnival again
Embarkation

Really fast. The only thing I didn’t like were the two photo ops right I shed the doors, the wind was blowing, people were walking everywhere, there was nowhere to put your stuff down... maybe pull those back from the door a bit.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining

The service was great (we had Dennis and Maryjane), but dinner seemed to be lacking in portion and flavor. Breakfast was really good and all of the lunch options were good. Some of the bars had flavorful drinks, others were just really watered down to the point they didn’t taste good.
Onboard Activities

Hung out by the pool and went to the club, the music was good.
Entertainment

Went to the rock music show, the singers were really good
Service and Staff

Everyone was great except for the guy who checked in the alcohol that we bought in Mexico (I think he may have been the head of housekeeping). I wish I got his name... one of our bottles of wine was missing, and he really didn’t seem to care. He asked me if I saw him write down the numbers (I didn’t know that was my job). He told me to just go claim it at Guest Services. Jill in Guest Services was very nice. After about an hour and a half they did find the bottle and we did get it back. We realized that this guy put the correct Folio number, but the wrong room number on a few of our bottles, but they were taped to other bottles with the right numbers, so we got those (I included a pic). I Would have appreciated the bottles being delivered to the rooms like on other cruises. Also, there was so much tape around the bottles and the labels that it ripped the labels off when you took the tape off the bottles, there has to be a better way to put bottles together (like in boxes, bags, or with zip ties). Only people that bought bottles on the ship got them in boxes, it would just be a nice touch to put all purchased alcohol and boxes.
Ship Quality

It’s an older ship and could use some fresh paint in places, but overall it looked nice. They were sanding the deck and painting while we were sailing, so I found that I bit weird. It was very easy to get turned around in such a small ship, the layout was a bit odd.
Cabin / Stateroom

The size of the shower was great, but the step into/out of the bathroom was huge. Our room steward kept our room very clean, and his towel animals were very cute! The bunk beds came down too low, sleeping under one was like sleeping in a coffin. Too easy to hit your head on in general.
We went on a wine tour, Rigo was our guide, he was great! Getting off the ship was nice, there’s a little bridge and a few places to take pictures. After that there were some little stands that you could buy things out and a stage where they were playing music and had dancers, but once you got into the city it was not as good. Just a lot of people in your face poking you asking you to buy things.
A little disorganized, but relatively quick. They wrote everything off so it was hard to walk through if you needed to, like in my case because I had to talk to Guest Services. Once I explained why I had to go through everybody was really nice and helped me get through or around the barriers.
