Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
We very much enjoyed the pride dining room! The staff were fabulous. Aung Thu was so very attentive! Juan was friendly! We also enjoyed the hard working and fun interaction we had with Ma Cristel, Darel and Ricarte!! I can't speak highly enough of the service we received from our carnival staff in the pride dining room.
Guy's burgers made a great lunch - couldn't get enough of the yummy fries.
The blue iguana made delicious to order burritos and tacos, loved the salsa bar!
The buffet had a decent variety of flavors and each day had a different theme which allowed for a good selection so we weren't ever unhappy with our choices.
We also liked the pirate pizza and the deli!! There was just so much food!!
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
My husband broke his wrist the day before we left, so we didn't participate in many activities. We did the mini golf and watched the fun happening around us.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
We had a great time at the punchline! Doug & BT were very entertaining. Music throughout the ship was excellent, we enjoyed all the different musicians and shows.
The big group of singers/dancers were fun to watch - they had so much energy. The music was trendy & popular.
Our cruise director Mel was so much fun!! We loved everything she did!
Bingo with Jaxx was super
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Imade was our room steward. I appreciate his hard work at keeping our room comfortably ready for us. His attention to detail was excellent. He made sure to check in on us and ensure we were comfortable. His service was outstanding!
I wish I had memorized every one's names! There were so many friendly people!
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
The imagination is an older ship but it's in excellent condition. Bathrooms in common areas were always neat and tidy. Buffets and food areas were clean. We noticed how clean everything was kept and how quickly the staff were to pay attention to small details like wiping down handrails. I'm impressed with the ship and the condition it's in for its age.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Our room was in great shape!! The window was clean. Bathroom was super clean!!
I was worried the bed wouldn't be comfortable, I have trouble sleeping usually. Our mattress, pillows and linens were great! There was a small stain on a sheet but it was obvious that it was old and the room smelled clean and fresh upon entering.
Ship tip
It's the perfect little ship!! It is comfortable and not so gigantic that you cant easily and quickly reach your destination. We found it manageable. There is 1 floor that doesn't go through, so pay attention to that area. It's an easy to navigate ship!
We walked off ship, followed the sidewalk, across a walking bridge then turned right and headed towards what looked like the main street. Before the big street and on the left of the canal that the little bridge crossed was a little place with golf carts, ITV's, scooters you could rent. 2 small tan buildings also were there. We hired a taxi (gray mini van) to take us around. We had our own PRIVATE tour guide!!! His English was excellent! He had many suggestions of things to see. Took us to free & clean bathrooms (yes, a lot of places charge .50 - .75 to use a bathroom). We went to see the blow hole, ate excellent tacos, purchased cacao, enjoyed street vendors (he walked and visited along with us & waited while we shopped - offered help with the language barrier too)
It went smoothly! We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast while we waited to disembark. We chose to carry our bags with us. The lines moved along quickly and we were even helped to a faster line because of my disability.
I love your excitement! You can still have that same level of joy after many cruises, you never have to lose it. (We haven’t). I’m like a little boy every time I get on a ship... happy cruising!
Great review, it is a fun little cruise! I hear the three day isn’t quite as good, it’s much harder for the crew. We’re doing the 4 day for the 3rd time next year.
