Review summary

The trip was enjoyable and fairly well organized. My only real issue was the safety briefing, where you wait for 45 minutes to give instruction on life vests(should take 5-10 min) because people cant seem to make it there on time.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Well organized and efficient.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The food was good, but is seasoned for the masses. If you like flavor be prepared to add salt/pepper/hot sauce/etc.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
The one pool is small, and there are 4 hot tubs on board which are not very big either.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The shows were good, the comedy shows were excellent!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our room steward was awesome, he even helped me with a power strip to overcome the one electrical outlet in the room!

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
The ship was overall clean and well lit.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
The cabin was not large, but was comfortable and clean. One issue is there is only one electrical outlet, which is an issue for charging multiple devices.

Ports of call

Long Beach (Los Angeles), California

5 out of 5
Parking is a little pricey at $20 per day.

Ensenada, Mexico

5 out of 5
We did a wine tasting excursion which was very enjoyable and a small group.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Fairly quick and well organized

The safety drill always seems to take much longer than needed because people don’t seem to know where to go or think they don’t need to go because they have been on a cruise before. And of course there are always the 10-15% that seem to be late to anything they do in life.

If everyone made the effort to get there on time it would only take 15 mins. But many dont realize how important it is and cant prise themselves from the bar

The drill is required by law. We have seen it vary in length on cruises. Our shortest was about 8 to10 minutes and longest about 20 to 25 minutes.
