Embarkation

We bought the Faster to the Fun offer and it was soooo worth it. Our trip was mid April and we had zero lines and befroe we knew it - we were sailing. They are organized and swift..somewhat of a structured chaos.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
They Buffet was as expected, Buffetts are never the top of the prime dishes, they're only there to take away your hunger, which this one did with a very good variety of options and the food was tastey enough and the times were just right to accomodate all walks of life.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Carnival really tries to keep their guests entertained, I was surprised at the amount of variety of shows and activities for such a short cruise...it really is non stop so you'll benefit if you take the time to plan out your days/evenings so that you get your dollars worth. Nice job Carnival!

Service and Staff

They work hard at making us happy and that is evident. But people dont expect perfection, not even your most expensive cruise can give perfection. The staff stay working around the clock and it showed.

Ship Quality

I really enjoyed this little cruise. Its great for first timers which all three of my daughters were, the waters got a little choppy (Mid April) but even then we could relly feel the boat rocking. We did bring seabands in case but didnt need them. Please tip you cabin steward, the staff really try their hardest and for those people complaining the staff didnt smile at you enough..for real...look what theyre dealing with. The staff are great and as friendly as possible, you can see them giving it their all. I would surely recommend as well as take this one again! Thank you Carnival. we had a fabulous time!

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Only 4 stars due the electrical outlets being janky and the blow dryer not working at all but it was probably due to the outlets not working properly in the bathroom. The bathroom also smelled of urine as if it soaked into the cracks of the baseboards, nothing a good bleach cleaning cant fix. We had a King bed and a bunk set. The King was comfy and two bunks were as expected for bunks. Neither of my girls complained though. Plenty of storage to unpack and stash the suitcases to get them out of the way. Four if us stayed in this cabin (3 adults, 1 child) and we did just fine.

Ship tip

Totally worth it - these cruises are what YOU make of them, plan it out right, be prepared, and don't expect perfection and you will have a great time!

Ensenada, Mexico

great little party spot BEER & Papas in Ensenada. Lots to look at but we were over it and ready to get back on the shop after 4 hrs of the downtown area. did not do any excursions and didnt really care to as the downtown spot was perfect for chillin and people watching.
