Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The main dining room was our favorite. Several options, menus changed every night, small portions perfect for multiple courses. Wait staff was great.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
I took advantage of the comedians and shows. The comedians Brian and Seth were hysterical! We even went to watch on multiple nights.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
They had a 70s/80s rockshow and Divas show (Beyonce like female artists) which we missed but everyone raved about. The DJ on the lido deck was soooo good! Definitely a lot of fun!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Manny our room steward was the best of the best. He even gave me birthday gift cards and personally came to our door to shake our hand upon leaving. The waitors we had at the main dinning room were very friendly and served us well. Melissa the cruise director and Fluffy were awesome! Always friendly, fun to be around and willing to help if you needed anything.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Loved the older ship feel...less people..no real waits for anything except elegant dinning night and it was easy to get to and from on the boat. Our room was always clean. The shower water pressure was great. We never ran out of hot water haha thats a plus! Everything clean!

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Everything was better than expected! Super clean. Comfortable. Walking room around the bed was better than imagined. We loved the interior room!

Ship tip

When you get your Daily events paper each day plan your day! You want to take advantage of shows and some times will conflict with what you want to do so planning your days and showing up early to get good seats :)

Ports of call

Long Beach (Los Angeles), California

There wasnt much to do arund this port. Queen Mary the rescue ship of the Titanic ( I believe) is the only thing around

Catalina Island, California

Love this quant town. We did the scenic tour and it was fabulous. They took us on a hummer around the one side of the island (lots of history and scenic photography)

Ensenada, Mexico

5 out of 5
We didnt explore around the port but did really enjoy the 4hr La Bufadora and Wine tasting tour. Driving to the blow hole we really got to see all parts of Ensenada (run down parts, agricultural fields, cliff scenic areas, mansions, tourist traps of shopping) Learned the history and culture of this area from Pedro our tour guide. He is soo knowledgable!

Disembarkation

Super easy. Walked right off the boat at 915am :)
