Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Main dining room food was just OK on this trip, nothing spectacular. The cesar's salad taste like mayonnaise (every night). The tiramisu was served frozen! Yes, frozen. And when we informed the waiter, he just laughed! Didn't even ask to replace it! The buffet food was much better than the dining room. Omelette station was excellent. Tipped them each time. I feel the food on these short cruises should compare to carnivals longer cruises. Very disappointed this cruise! Adult beverages and non alcohol selection was very good.

Onboard Activities

Enjoyed my time at the pool. Take a look at your library....it needs books!

Entertainment

I can only comment on the Welcoming Show which I could not sit through! My recommendation: Do away with the talking towel puppets with their annoying voices!

Service and Staff

Room steward, Joanna was 'excellent'. Greeted us by name each day and evening. Asked if everything was good. As for the dining room service, we had anytime dining and some waiters introduced themselves some didn't. As stated under 'food' survey, the waiter who served us frozen tiramisu just laughed when we told him..never asked to replace it! We did however have some very good waiters both male and female.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
The Miracle is a bit outdated. It is not as glitzy/fun as the newer ships however it is kept very clean and well maintained. Congrats in this category.

Cabin / Stateroom

You can throw comfort out the window! Agent said cabin had bunks (3 adults) but we didn't get bunks! A cot was in cabin and we, 3 adults, had about 5x3 feet to move around. So disappointed! Room steward, Joanna, did an excellent job. Cabin was very clean. She cleaned twice a day.Great job, Joanna!

Ship tip

You get what you pay for! Make the best of it!

Ports of call

Long Beach (Los Angeles), California Did not visit port

Catalina Island, California

Rented a golf cart and toured the island. Fun day!

Ensenada, Mexico

Took a tuk tuk tour (not a ship excursion) and that was lame! Ensenada is not one of my favorite Mexico ports of call.
