Review summary

My comparison to other cruises that I have taken, I would compare this to a Motel 6 and not Hyatt. I had raved to my husband how great cruising was and sad to say it was a little disappointing to what I have experience in the past.

Sad to say - food was not good in main dining. Only burgers that were good were Guy Burgers. There are no specialty restaurant other Steak house which is part of the main dining at Pride dining room.

Our Steward was very nice but unfortunately when we first arrived the room was not totally cleaned. We found hairs in a couple of drawers that were not cleaned.

The size of our room was very good and well proportioned

Ship tip

If you take a bottle champagne don't forget that it has to be on your carry on luggage. We forgot about it and when we got off elevator we were encourage to check in our luggage. I totally forgot that the bottle was in there and it was confiscated. The note that they put on our luggage was that we could collect it on last day when we were disembarking back in Long Beach. Sad to say I was told it had already been disposed. So as you can imagine I was upset when I found out my $50 bottle was gone. We were going to toast our Anniversary on the first day of the cruise.
