Review summary

For first time cruisers, we really enjoyed the entire experience. This is another option for a weekend getaway. We will definitely go on another one.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Smooth, no waiting. We purchased the Faster To The Fun. We arrived earlier than our appointment arrival time and were able to drop off our luggage in our room and had lunch at the Lido Deck without dragging our bags with us.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Food tastes great. We dined mostly at the Pride Dining Room. The menu changes every time.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
I was able to use the fitness center. Everything was clean.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We watched the shows at the Dynasty Lounge. We enjoyed the Divas and the Epic Rock shows. We love the comedians at the Punchliner. There was never a dull moment.

Children's Programs

No children with us.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All the staff were friendly and helpful. The room steward kept our room clean. The animal folded towels were amazing. The waiters kept us entertained and were helpful.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The common areas are clean and well maintained. It doesn't look like an old ship. I love the room decors.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Cabin is small for 3 people but we are able to get around. It was always clean. Bed is comfortable. I was able to get a good night sleep. Well worth the price.

Ship tip

For a weekend getaway, it's worth it. Try all the activities as much as you can. Eat as much as you can too.

Ports of call

Long Beach (Los Angeles), California

5 out of 5
The port is clean and parking was convenient. We're from Los Angeles county so we didn't do any excursion.

Ensenada, Mexico

4 out of 5
We did the La Bufadora and downtown Ensenada tour. Our tour guide Anna was informative and helpful on where to go and where to buy. The downside is the supposedly 4 hour tour became 6 hours. It's really difficult if we are a part of a large group since we had to wait for everyone who booked the tour.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Very smooth and hassle free. When Alex, the cruise director announced that there was no line, we immediately took advantage of the opportunity.
