I traveled with my partner and two friends. Thankfully we are the type of group who makes the best out of any situation. The experience with the staff was enough for me to never travel with Carnival again. We enjoyed ourselves on the boat because we made the best of our trip. I love to cruise and I was the only person in our group to have cruised in the past; with that being said, it was disheartening to have my party have such a bad experience with the staff for their first cruise. I hope Carnival takes this feedback and does something positive with it.

The process was quick - not to much trouble getting through the lines and clearing our documents. They did take a picture of us once they cleared our boarding documents; however, once we got to the final check point, we had to wait to be cleared again and take another photo. This process took about a good 15-20 mins as there were about 8 people also waiting to be cleared.

The dinner buffet the first night was terrible. The food was cold, there wasn't many options to choose from.
The sit down dinners were wonderful. Friendly staff, in fact the only friendly staff on the entire boat. As far as drinks, we had the all you can drink bracelets. All but one bartender (who we found the last day) were rude, always in a rush, even if we were the only ones at the bar, and seemed to have an issue answering basic questions like, what time does this bar close? One response we got from a bartender was, why don't you just order an drink? I replied excuse me? I'm just trying to learn about the boat and would like to know what time this bar close, he laughed in my face and said, just order a drink already....

After he took our order incorrectly because he walked away before we could finish ordering our drink, we kindly told him, we actually order "xxx" He replied no you didn't. So I told him, actually we did. He gave us a glare and went back and poured the shot back into the bottle. I'm not a bartender but I know that you are not allowed to pour anything back into the bottle once it is poured. We did speak to a manager about it and the manager looked at us and said, no he did not do that! As if he was there watching his bartender & insinuating we are lying.

Entertainment was appreciated. We visited the casino, the club, movie night, hot tubs, live shows, all a great experience.
Service and Staff

The room stewards were just okay, we had to call one day to have our room serviced and when we called they asked us, well what do you want done? We replied, just the stand freshening up with clean towels. Not sure why our room was skipped that day.
All but one bartender name Ann, were extremely rude.
I wish I could remember her name, but our waitress for our sit down dinners was extremely attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the dishes.

No issue with the room size or cleanliness. Although we did have to call for service one day, since they skipped cleaning our room.
I believe it's called the Tuk Tuk, they are golf cart like rides. Our tour guides we awesome, friendly, knowledgeable. We were able to visit the beach, a museum, the first jail in Addenda, they also drove us around town pointing out different highlights of the City. They took us to a peak where we were able to see the entire City, the view was amazing. We asked them to take us to a locals favorite restaurant, nothing touristy, and they nailed the location with amazing food. They also said, when we were done shopping to head back to their home base location and they would drive us back to our boat, which they did with no problem.
Wow such awful cruise trip, I've been on this ship and didn't have ANYTHING go wrong , sorry about the awful experience you received. Hopefully next time your experience will be much better.
