I will be taking more cruises. My four year old wants to go on one for his 5th birthday in June! I guess we will be cruising from now on.
Embarkation

It was very easy.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
There was so much food. I usually eat organic and by the second day I was very bloated, but the food was delicious nonetheless. I wish there had been a organic choices.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
My kids loved the Dr. Suess parade. I wish I had brought their suits so they could have enjoyed the pools. I thought it would be too cold.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
Epic Rock was amazing! The kids, ages 4 and 7, LOVED it. The comedy was good too.
Children's Programs
4 out of 5
They loved it! They did not want to leave. The prices were fair, cheaper than a sitter overall.
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
My room steward Arthur was so nice. There was nothing he would not help with and with such a gracious attitude. Alex, the director was amazing! I am a huge fan of The Love Boat show from the 70s/80s and this just brings back those memories.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
The ship was clean and I saw staff cleaning the ship all of the time. Someone had gotten sick in one of the elevators and it was all over the panel, floor and back wall; the staff was cleaning it without issue. It is obvious that the ship is older.
Cabin / Stateroom

The only real problem is that my room had mold in the shower and a moldy smell to the room.
I grew up in Long Beach so I am used to it, also why I moved away 12 years ago. There are too many people, prices are high but you can get good food and do some shopping if you are into that type of thing. Los Angeles is not that far, however because of traffic it will take an hour to get 20 miles.
Not as exciting as everyone makes it. I used to drive to Tijuana every year and they are very similar. Make sure to take USD with you because if you do not they will try and get over on you with the exchange rate. The food is good, but the shopping is not all that great! The experience is more for the cruise than the port.
The all the food on a cruise is organic - carbon based, lol. I know what you mean, with all the food and choices I don't think anyone gets away with out being bloated ever if it was organic or not, it's all too yummy.
