Review summary

I strongly recommend this cruise to Ensenada Mexico as the food, service, and activities are wonderful for single, couples, and families. The staff is fun and they all seem to enjoy their jobs.

food was great and many different choices. I even ordered and paid the extra money for lobster.

Many different activities to choose from but I could do without the announcements occurring all day when I was trying to relax. It would be nicer if they occurred once and were available in our cabins on a piece of paper.

Our room steward was absolutely wonderful and they knew our names and always greeted us. The rooms were always clean. The staff that was on the deck for drinks gave much better the first two days than the last day that you are out at sea. Our assigned waiter and waitress,Elisa, in the main dining room were absolutely wonderful and very accommodating with special food needs. The buffets had many different choices and were always clean and well-stocked.

We slept 3 in this cabin and there was plenty of space and clothing storage.

Ship tip

Make sure you buy the drink and activities passes before cruising as they are cheaper.

Disembarkation

Very easy and going to the disembarkation the day at sea helped so we knew what to do. Also sending out luggage ahead the night before was helpful.

Good to hear! This our first off of the west coast. We usually port out of Miami or Port Canaveral, but the dates we needed didn't work with anything we haven't already done through either this time.

Going in February. Never been to Ensenada and not planning on booking an excursion but looking at going to Papas and Beer. Any suggestions?

Glad to hear you enjoyed this stop. The one time I stopped in Ensenada I was not impressed myself. I would give it another try before I pass judgment on it.
