Review summary

This was a great cruiseship to take for a short duration cruise. Great cruise to take with friends. Even if you are not a drinker, it is still a super fun cruise to take.

Embarkation

Check-in was quick and painless. We were on the ship in less than 20 minutes from check-in to our room.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

I've never seen so many bars to choose from. And each one was excellent. Our favorite was the Alchemy Bar on Deck 9. Here you can have the bartenders make you a specialty drink surprise (just tell them what you like and they'll do the rest). We also did the Chef's Table. It is an additional charge, but so worth the money. The food was so good!

Onboard Activities

Loved the adults only area (Serenity). During the day on a Sea Day it is pretty busy, but come the evening it is empty.

Entertainment

DJ was really good. The stage show was pretty typical low budget production, but still fun. The comedy club had really good comedians.

Children's Programs

No kids

Service and Staff

Everyone was great at their job.

Ship Quality

Ship was old, but clean. Super easy to get around without getting lost. Bars every where!

Cabin / Stateroom

Really enjoyed our cabin. It was in a nice quiet area with a cute little balcony. Plenty of space for 2 adults.

Ship tip

This is a super fun ship. It's not the fanciest, but it's fun.

Ports of call

Long Beach (Los Angeles), California Did not visit port

We left from here.

Catalina Island, California

We had a blast. We rented a golf cart and did a scavenger hunt that took as all over the island. Great way to see the island.

Ensenada, Mexico

We hired a cab to take us to La Bufadora. Although there is a gauntlet of aggressive vendors on the walk to the blow hole, it was worth it. I suggest eating at Poncho's if you go to La Bufadora. It's a great restaurant just off the shops. Super quiet, great food & drink, and free wifi.

Disembarkation

Sailed through customs. No complaints.
