Review summary

It's all about money and partying, party party party.But I had a disagreement with my other half and went to bed only to awake at the banging of people at my door waking me and acting like the were the feds taking an unopened paid for bottle of Vodka,a fifth that cost $80.00 and them telling me no alcohol for the rest of the cruise. I did nothing wrong and was sleeping.If you don't have a few thousand to spend on the cruise and don't want to feel like you'r in a prison I do not bother going anywhere with this cruise line.

My cabin was fine and the housekeeping crew were great.

thank you for the link...I guess I overlooked it. Glad I did because that is expensive!! if I ever need to restock my bar at home I will just get it onboard and wait till the last day to get it and bring it home....cheaper that way. But I only go through about a half a bottle of alcohol a year anyway....lol.

yes...I ordered stuff online that was in our room when we got on board but could not order liquor. Only wine and a bucket of beer though. I was just curious as to how this person had an 80 dollar bottle of liquor in her room when I had never heard of that before. But like I said...I guess every ship has different policies depending on the port I guess.

Thank you stephaniet. I know we could get it on my cruise online but only wine and I believe a bucket of beer but not bottles of liquor. I guess it's different on each cruise ship.

You can purchase alcohol on the website prior to your cruise and it will be delivered to your cabin on that first day. It's way overpriced but it is an option. If you buy it on the ship or in port you do not get it until disembarkment.

tatt2ed....when you purchase it at the fun shops it is not given to you...you buy it and they keep it till the last day. Idk...her story sounds off.

EBHoward...they do not suspend the entire cabin just because of one fool in your cabin. My cabin bunky got wasted and showed his butt on our cruise...they only suspended him. I am not a big drinker but was still able to get a glass of wine at dinner and a frozen alcohol drink at the comedy show. They did tell me I was not allowed to purchase any for the one who got suspended or my privileges would be suspended also. Our sign-n-sail cards were not linked so that may have made a difference....not sure. I wasn't stupid though and followed the rules....if you can't handle your liquor do not drink it! If you show your butt becauae you were the idiot who got drunk..well take your punishment and stop blaming the cruise for your horrible time on the ship (thats to original poster).

How did she get the bottle of Vodka in her room? When you purchase bottles of alcohol onboard you do not get it till the end of the cruise....what you buy on shore and on the ship is held till the last day. I only ask because we were just on the Fascination and were told this when looking in to purchasing some bottles. Is it different on each ship? I have been on the Triumph but didn't buy alcohol so I am not sure.

Sounds to me that somebody was outta control didn't know how to hold their alcohol and was put on a timeout it takes a lot and I mean a lot to be cut off on a carnival cruise soo maybe kallkelly123 should stay home because she doesn't know how to act I'm sure they gave your bottle back at the end of the sail they normally don't confiscate things with out giving them back

Sounds like the vodka was purchased on board based on price. But it is the Carnival policy to end drinking for the entire cabin, if there's an alcohol related incident on the ship. I think it's a prudent policy.

Well don't ask for my comments on this, or to give a review. I was disappointed with this cruise and told the truth about their security police they have on board. So have fun all you carnival cruisers-it was my first and last trip.
