Review summary
it was a very good experience. The weather was not optimal being somewhat cold and cloudy but we managed to brave it on the tours. The Catalina jeep tours was very fun and very scenic. Got to see one buffalo and some awesome scenic vistas. It is run by the Conservation Society that manages Catalina so the money is going for a great cause. This is not mentioned in the tour description on cheap cruises but it should be.
The zip line tour in Ensenada was very interesting. The ziplines were excellent and some very very long. But the unusual thing about this tour is the number of rope bridges of various types one must traverse...quite a unique experience. The five hour zip line tour in Puerto Vallarta is a much grander experience overall but even it did not have the number and variety of bridges this one had.
Shipboard it was warmer and there was plenty of sun for tanning. Food was excellent and the dancing at night was totally awesome better than on any of the other three cruises I have taken recently. Accomodations were excellent. Had trouble finding out the weather report for each day though.
