Review summary

We loved the staff on board, in particular our steward and waiters. We had great service. The food in the dining room was wonderful, the embarking/debarking processes were very organized.

However, we felt we were on a booze-cruise. The ship promoted heavy drinking and I have never seen people so out of control on a cruise before. The "serenity" deck was anything but serene- it turned into an adults only party scene. I would not recommend this weekend cruise if you are not looking for that party scene (If you are, then you'll probably love it). We were looking for a relaxing cruise and we struggled to experience that. I have heard that the Monday-Thursday cruise is much less alcohol-centered. It was also very crowded. The buffet was extremely stressful (the decor in there made it much worse- all black with blue neon lights everywhere) and it was just not set up to handle the number of people in there.

Do the resort excursion. This was the highlight of our trip.
