Review summary

For a quick getaway the Canrnival Imagination was a blast. The staff was wonderful everywhere we went. The onboard activities were fun. We are now the proud owner of a "Ship on a Stick" trivia trophy. They had American fun facts, movie music theme, musical and general knowledge trivia just to name a few. The dinner staff was really amazing. Our waiter was on top of everything. Even my one friend who is on the picky side was able to find plenty to eat. My glass always stayed full or was never empty for long. I really enjoyed each night the "Didja" option. It's where Carnival puts something on the menu most people have never tried before. Our luded Escargot, Gator bites, sushi and ahai tuna. It was fun daring a couple at our table to try gator for the first time. Then they ended up ordering another plate becuase they loved it. The only thing you should really skip on this cruise is the awful night show. It was just a mash up of random music and the choreography was horrendous. We stayed to the end just out of morbid curiosity to see if it could get any worse, it did. The dancers did a great job of working with what they were given but overall the show was just not worth sitting though. I have seen better school plays done by 10 year olds. The Serenity (21+ only) pool area was a nice quiet area to enjoy some sun. You could lay out on some really nice lounge chairs in the sun, dip in one fo the two hot tubs or relax in the shaded chair area. It is located on the back of the ship so it has a great view while the ship is cruising. It's where we went to on the ship when it pushed out from Miami. Not as crowded back there and they had a guy playing guitar for the sail away party. Would recomend to anyone who doesn't want the craziness of the deck party for the sail away celebration. Overall this was a wonderful cruise at just the right price for a 4 day get away with some friends. :)
