Entertainment

3 out of 5
Dancers were sub-par compared to other ships. There were not rough seas to blame. Just not the quality we have experienced on other ships. The headline show was one I had actually seen performed on another Carnival Ship, so that was disappointing. However, the comedian was excellent. (Steve "aint" White)

Ports of call

Key West, Florida

3 out of 5
Smathers Beach: Arrived in port at 8am. Homeless people were still asleep on the picnic tables and public areas at the beaches. They were BATHING in the ocean. Overall clean beaches. Higgs Beach closer to town with same offerings as Smathers if not more. Duval Street and Key Lime Pie are musts.
Don't Miss: KEY LIME PIE

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
Initial entry point at Cozumel is a tourist shopping trap. However, if you bake, or know someone who does, Pure Vanilla Extract is made right in Mexico and is dirt cheap compared to US prices. Scuba diving at its best.
Don't Miss: Scuba diving and/or snorkeling. Water is crystal clear, and marine life is abundant/beautiful.

Pros: Having an interior room this time was the best. Room stayed dark. Allowed for longer sleep.

Cons: Crowded.
