Carnival Imagination appears to be a bit dated but in consideration of the price was a terrific value.

Casa Dennis is a fabulous restaurant in the shopping area near the port. Very authentic flavor. The beach excursions offer lots of free beverages if that interests you but the beach itself is just ok. Next time I would skip the beach and go for scuba or the lost river tour.

Duvall Street, Mallory Square, Hemmingway House, Southernmost Point, Butterfly Conservatory are all must sees. I don't recommend City View Trolley if you are on a tight time schedule while in port. The Old Town Trolley and Conch Train are an alternative but they do not let you off at any of the points of interest like City View Trolley does. An option I would consider on a revisit is the scooter or mini car rentals.
Don't Miss: Butterfly Conservatory was absolutely amazing. Even better was the fact that we received free tickets onboard the ship from the shopping guru. It's well worth sitting through the presentation.

Pros: Open Dining option was fantastic. I highly recommended to folks wanting to go on excursions in each port.

Cons: Location of our state room at the front of the ship was a bit noisy in terms of ocean waves splashing against the side.

Recommends Carnival Imagination? No.
