Review summary

I enjoyed this cruise. I liked the ports. Some staff was awesome - Nelson with the hair and Double A in the MDR. Others acted like they couldn’t wait to be off the ship. I get it it’s hard work but while trying to be friendly they could at least pretend to be helpful.

First time I saw drug sniffing dogs in the cruise port. We needed to set all bags on the floor and dog sniffed our bags with its handler. No problem as I didn’t have anything illegal.

Only had 2 shows but 1 of the shows was the night we were in Aruba for 12 hours. It would have been better on a sea day as most people were pretty tired.

Design of the ship and interior was great but not enough WORKING washing up areas! No person to encourage hand washing and sanitation stations were broken or hidden.🥲

Only had 1 hanging compartment for hanging clothes.

Ship tip

During sea days eat at the 2 free restaurants on Deck 11. It’s good!

Rented a car. Easy to drive around but download offline map. Car didn’t have GPS even though I asked and told they did when booking online.

Take a taxi for $15 round trip to Bayahibe Beach. It’s a nice calm beach with reasonably priced refreshments. Chairs are $10 or if you order food/drinks free plastic table and chairs to sit on.

Drug sniffing dogs are becoming the norm which I think is good. Remember everyone can have a bad day sometimes and hopefully that was what you experienced with those few crew members. BUT. Glad you had a great time
