Review summary

Elevator system needs to be better- I understand the why but it doesn’t work great. I would suggest if you keep this you enter the floor number then option for how many in your party, not enter 5 different times (in addition something for notification of scooters). We also missed the coke machines stationed around the ship- like Mardi Gras when we went on it.

Horizon is my least favorite ship. The elevators weren't bad for me. At least it didn't stop at every floor. Mardi Gras is newer with the soda machine You can purchase soda from room service and put in your refrigerator. If that helps. I didn't like the theater or decor. Does anyone know if there are variations with the other Vista ships? I kinda got stuck on Dream class.. love the Magic.

I love the smart elevators, and really missed not having them on Jubilee! All modern/new office building have them too; they make a ton of sense and work really well if people would just take the few seconds to learn how to properly use them.

I do agree that the elevators control system could use some help. We did know that they were gonna different than what we would call normal. But after figuring them out it was just ok. Just be prepared to wait. Unfortunately seems to be any and all new ships are using the same system. Guess it's a hidden push for ya to use the stairs as we did often because of the long waits. But don't let that be a dead spot for a good time at sea.
