This has by far been my favorite cruise ship. It was so well organized and everything ran so smoothly. There were plenty of places to get quiet glimpses of the view. There was so much stuff to do. The food was phenomenal. My only complaint is that it was over too soon.

There were some weather issues that caused a lot of flight cancellations and delays, but Carnival really handled the situation well. We arrived at noon and were on the ship by 12:30!

After my cruise on Venezia, I wrote off Carnival in terms of food quality. Horizon really made me change my tune and cemented the fact that dining really varies by ship. The food on this ship was phenomenal. I only ate at the buffet for midnight snacks though. But the buffet was laid out well and there was such a wide variety of venues we were always able to get something to eat when we wanted. The pizza was also surprisingly good!

There were a few minor issues, but nothing that impacted the comfort or cleanliness of the room. They just need to make a minor fix to a bedside lamp. Otherwise it was super comfortable.
Ship tip
If you're sensitive to sounds, don't book your room in the high 9300s or low 9400s. That area is right under the lido kitchen and it gets NOISY. I knew what I was getting into so I won't take away any stars, but I could see someone not knowing and being livid about it.
Disembarkation is always a rough day, everyone is anxious and tired. But this was well organized. I got up at 8, crashed in the Havana lounge by 8:30, began getting off the boat at 9, was waiting for my Lyft by 9:40. All in all, not bad. Finding my Lyft driver on the other hand... š
